CUSTOM PLASTIC & POLYMER PARTS

C-PlexInc leverages the power of it's software, fabrication equipment, partner suppliers, and expertise in a broad set of industries to bring your custom parts to market in the most efficient and highest quality possible.
AutoCAD and Solidworks are some of the software we utilize to analyze various design blueprint files and assist with design manufacturability, modeling, and simulations, which will ensure a smooth transition from prototype to production.
We utilize a broad set of high precision CNC, casting, and forming equipment in order to have the perfect setup to yield the best quality.
Pairing these capabilities with the power of chemistry, we can utilize various chemical bonding, gluing, fastening, and thermosetting techniques to further enhance the product.

VACUUM FORMING & THERMOFORMING PLASTICS

C-Plexinc is equipped with a high-end forming machine, which is capable of both vacuum forming and thermoforming. It features high grade, two zone, ceramic sandwich heaters, Allen Bradley controllers, adjustable clamping frame, and a plug assist system. This allows us to form a wide range of material thicknesses with high quality, repeatability, precision, and volumes for our clients. We can form many plastics including ABS, Kydex, Acrylic, PETG, HDPE, and more.
In addition to our forming expertise, we also offer support services for full in-house mold production, which again, leads to better quality and efficiency in the entire manufacturing process. Molds can be constructed of various materials, such as, Medium Density Fiber Board, Polyurethane Mold Board, Aluminum, Silicone, and more.

REACTION INJECTION MOLDING (RIM)

Reaction Injection Molding, commonly referred to as the RIM process, brings us from the thermoplastics side of C-Plexinc to the thermoset side. RIM involves the reaction of 2-components, typically an iso-cyanate with a polyol. Here we leverage the power of chemistry to vary the chemical makeup of the compound to yield a product that can range from a soft gel-like material, all the way up to a solid hardhat-like rigidness. The elemental composition and formulation can be varied in ways which can yield a hybrid of the softness/hardness range, with chemical, fire, UV, hot & cold climate, and water resistance.
The RIM process yields a thermoset product, which is resistant to deforming, lightweight, better performance, can vary in wall thicknesses in the same part, and mold in inserts compared to similar products manufactured of various steel and thermoplastics.
Furthermore, the manufacturing and molds needed for this process can be manufactured of less expensive material and last longer because of the lower pressures needed, when compared to high pressure injection molding.

ASSEMBLE & PACKAGE

Once parts are manufactured, of course, assembling is required at some point in the process. C-Plexinc offers services in final product assembling, QC, packaging, and shipping.
In many instances, our clients will have electronics, motors, or any other part that is required, drop shipped to our location for final product assembling, quality control, and shipping.
